WATER'S RESPONSE - HOLOGRAPHIC

Cosmic language is light is a series of light boxes developed in collaboration with Studio Raphael Lutz, Makroart and Davel 14.

The images are made up of multi-layered collages, mainly transparent and polarising films, whose colour and appearance change depending on how you look at them, creating a game of perception that questions what you think you see, and an effect of depth and colour projection.
These works invite us to become physically involved, to turn around them to discover their magic, and to question our own perception of what is real.

The films are mounted on backlit frames, hijacking an industrial advertising process. The work then reflects light back into the room and steps out of its frame. The work is endowed with a breath that is imperceptible to the naked eye, but which gives it a life of its own, bringing the paintings closer to an idea of experience, beyond a fixed painting.

The intensity of the light and its movement are programmed by the Raphael Lutz studio, according to the needs of the exhibition space or private collectors.

The pieces in this series have been exhibited at the CACY Yverdon, the MEP in Paris and Photo Elysée in Lausanne, and were installed at the Gymnase in Yverdon in 2024. They are in the collection of Banque Vontobel in Geneva and in private collections.
