Visual artist Maya Rochat live at the Lucerne Festival

We have invited the visual artist Maya Rochat, who lives in Lausanne, to realize two live performances on the occasion of the opening of this year's Lucerne Festival - one for guests and the second for the general public. Our choice fell very consciously on Rochat, because her works are transdisciplinary - Maya Rochat combines image, installation, sound and performance.
For the opening of this year's Lucerne Festival, she will develop a global and immersive staging. Accompanied by the sound artist Julie Semoroz, Rochat will paint live on old overhead projectors, which will project the painting directly onto the walls. The black opening hall will be transformed into a global audio-visual work of art. Seeing with the ears, hearing with the eyes - the sensory experiences are closely related. Maya Rochat makes this clear as a visual artist.
