Language of Color ETH

After three years of work, research, and creation, this ambitious artistic project is finally unveiled to the public. "Language of Color" is, to date, the most ambitious Kunst am Bau project ever realized by Maya Rochat.

Large scale and colorful painting were installed on-site, dorning the glass facade of the main entrance of the Machine Laboratory, as well as the windows and walls in the Student Project House. Enlarged to the space, these artworks consist of organic paintings printed on transparent films and merged with lithography, or printed on polarizing film applied to glass.

With "Language of Color," Maya Rochat invites on a poetic and chromatic journey, an artistic and sensory experience. The colors and shapes create an exploration that unfolds in space.

The work is open to the public and can be experienced during the opening hours of ETH Zürich (Facade, Tannenbar, Machine Laboratory, Student Project House).
