In her dedicated room, Maya Rochat offers an immersive visual and aural experience. In her practice, the artist questions the place of art in society, inviting the public to engage with it and experience it fully. With this in mind, she has conceived her video composition as a large canvas in motion. Unusual and figurative, the images of foliage become so many plant motifs, conquering the screen and covering the nocturnal scenes of Luna Park. Here, the machine seems to be fighting against the force of Nature. In a final flourish, the capitalist robot, dedicated to mass entertainment, groans in a final, futile effort.
