PRINT ART NOW. Collecting at Edition VFO

The Musée Jenisch Vevey hosts the first stage of a traveling project highlighting contemporary printmaking. PRINT ART NOW celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Zurich-based association Edition VFO (Verein für Originalgraphik), which publishes limited-edition prints in direct collaboration with artists.

Still too often considered a secondary medium, printmaking offers unique forms of artistic expression and greatly contributes to the development of creation. The exhibition of the Cantonal Cabinet of Prints explores the fundamental notion of the series through a display focused on the recent productions of Edition VFO. Varying motifs, techniques, or dimensions, the works on display reveal a wide range of forms and concepts, allowing artists to play between traditions and experimentations to renew contemporary printmaking.
