Edition series created following an invitation from the newspaper Le Temps to produce a carte blanche for their culture section in June 2023. The newspaper feature was part of Poetry of The Earth, the visual theme developed for the retrospective exhibition at the MEP in Paris. The work, printed on the newspaper's medium and distributed to readers, was later adapted into the GALACTIC EVOLUTION edition, available in various forms, continuing my exploration of the technical possibilities of art printing.
Seeking to depict multidimensional, deliberately spectacular images, evoking galaxies and other interstellar clouds, the GALACTIC EVOLUTION series is printed on a holographic laminate, which polarizes the colors and creates brilliant effects. Melting the motives with handmade spray paint, the image is animated by light and reacts to the viewer's movement.
The print is mounted on 2 mm aluminum with a rear-mounting frame (vertical and horizontal possibilities, the image allowing two orientations).
This version, edited in 10 copies, is handpainted.
